wampmysqld64 path wasn't updated (2 replies)
Hello,
I installed wampserver3_x64_addon_mysql5.7.20.exe
But MySql service wampmysqld64 path to executable is
"c:\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.19\bin\mysqld.exe"
It should be "c:\wamp64\bin\mysql\mysql5.7.20\bin\mysqld.exe"
How can I fix that ?

WAMP 3.1.0 External VirtualHost Bug (no replies)
I have this bug using wamp v.3.1.0 64 bit...
scenario: adding virtualhost folder outside from wamp installation folder
bug: virtual host successfully added but accessing it on my browser gives me a not found xdebug error
e.g.:
vhost path "c:\wamp64\www\mysite1\" <- this works
but outside of wamp folder
vhostt path "c:\users\admin\onedrive\www\mysite1\" <- doesn't work

PHP 5.6.25 Update (no replies)
I have upgraded Wamp64 to the latest version (3.1.0), along with using the latest version of PHP 7.1.12, MySQL 5.7.20, and Apache 2.4.29. I notice that there is also PHP 5.6.25 installed with the note to not delete this version as I imagine it is needed for most of the internal Wamp scripts.
Is it advisable to keep 5.6.xx version of PHP up to date? If so is this done by simply installing a PHP addon and then switching PHP to utilize the 7.1.12 version for apache?

phpmyadmin - login and GUI problems (4 replies)
I am stuck trying to login to the phpMyAdmin page.
I have tried changing the allow password to True, tried using Root in the user name and blank password etc, though these have not resolved it.
When opening phpMyAdmin, the url it opens with is "[localhost];. I get the landing page with two forms, I) Language selection, ii) Log In with Username, Password and Server Choice.
I do not get the various menu and tabs etc that I see on the demo page and tutorials on youtube.
I am running the following systems:
* WAMP: "wampserver3.1.0_x64",
* phpMyAdmin: "phpmyadmin 4.7.4".
* Windows 10
* Microsoft Edge browser: 40.15063.674.0 and Microsoft Edge HTML 15.15063
* Chrome: Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I suspect it may be a setting with the port using 8080, which I manually changed previously as I was not able to get WAMP to work and go green in the status tray.

Change php.ini to production version (5 replies)
I have my site running on Wamp64 quite happily with options PHP5.6 and PHP7.0.10 A couple of days ago I added the PHP7.1.2 module. I was already aware of the added stringency of some errors messages - most of which have been relatively easy to fix. I have been left with one "deprecation" error which I have been unable to fix (and strangely does not occur with a contact of mine using the same arrangement).
My question is: how do I change the environment in php.ini from development to production - particulalry changing the error message reporting from E_ALL to E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_STRICT?

Install old php on WampServer (no replies)
Hi, I have the wampserver 2.5 environment with the default php 5.5.x installed.
Now I need to install an old version of php, the 5.4.x. I tried following more guides but did not want to go.
I'll explain what I did.
I downloaded the php I needed and put it in the c: \ wamp \ bin \ php folder. I copied the 3 files (php.ini, phpforapache.ini, wampserver.conf) from php 5.5 to this new 5.4.
Then in the first 2 files I modified the php extension_dir path by putting that in php5.4.
I refreshed the server but when I click on php 5.4 the server does not start and the icon remains yellow for some arcane reason.
What is it that does not go?

WampManager 3.1.0 Error SymLink PHP (no replies)
To troubleshoot WampServer 3.1.0 in Windows 7 x64 "Error Create SymLink PHP" create a new schedule with "Planning Utility" to start Wampmanager.exe by ticking the "Run with the highest predefined" and "Run independently User Connection "and use a User Administrator! Problem solved !

updating wampserver 2.2 to 3.0 (1 reply)
Hello,
I have not looked for updates for a long time now and noticed that you are now at version 3.0.6.
I backed up my wamp 2.2 folder and tried to update it but unfortunately it did not work and I do not wish to loose the programs that are currently working.
So, I have restored my backup and am interested in updating from 2.2 to 3 with 32bit.
I have installed all of the necessary VC files.
What is the best way to proceed?

curl_init error after swapping PHP versions (1 reply)
I recently used the addons to updated WAMP from 3.0.0 to 3.1.1 and also added php versions 7.1.12 and 7.2.0.
When I switch from PHP 7.0.0 to either of the later versions I get the following error when I make a curl call:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function curl_init()
When I change back to 7.0.0 it works fine. After doing some searches there are recommendations to move libssh2.dll, ssleay32.dll, libeay32.dll and php_curl.dll into the apache folder, but those already have symlinks to the file locations (they exist in those locations, I checked).
When I switch from PHP 7.0.0 to either of the later versions I get the following error when I make a curl call:

MSQL wampmysqld64 won't start no matter what (3 replies)
hi,
my service won't start: wampmysqld64
i tried a lot of things and read through your forum for solutions.
installed VC9, VC10, VC11, VC13 , VC14 and VC15 for both x86 x64
tried installing wampserver3.1.0_x86.exe and wampserver2.5-Apache-2.4.9-Mysql-5.6.17-php5.5.12-64b.exe. but get the same problem.
and i tried to updated to wampserver3_x86_x64_update3.1.1.exe
also tried the wampserver3_repair_wampini.exe but the wampini_repair.bat file can't find wampmanager.exe.
a previous version of wampserver (2.5) was running fine until i tried to update to you newer versions and a reinstall of 2.5 won't fix the problem either.
i'm at a loss at what i can do else. i would appreciate some help, thank you in advance.

my service won't start: wampmysqld64
i tried a lot of things and read through your forum for solutions.
installed VC9, VC10, VC11, VC13 , VC14 and VC15 for both x86 x64
tried installing wampserver3.1.0_x86.exe and wampserver2.5-Apache-2.4.9-Mysql-5.6.17-php5.5.12-64b.exe. but get the same problem.
and i tried to updated to wampserver3_x86_x64_update3.1.1.exe
also tried the wampserver3_repair_wampini.exe but the wampini_repair.bat file can't find wampmanager.exe.
a previous version of wampserver (2.5) was running fine until i tried to update to you newer versions and a reinstall of 2.5 won't fix the problem either.
i'm at a loss at what i can do else. i would appreciate some help, thank you in advance.

Not able to create a Virtual Host on my local machine (no replies)
Hi,
I am using wamp 3.1.0 and using magento 2.2, apache 2.4.27, php 7.0.23 (because magento 2.2 supports that version only out of other available 5.6.31 and 7.1.9), mysql 5.7.19
I tried all of the articles to create a virtual host on my local machine but all in vain and nothing worked. After doing all of the things when I open the url as "mysite.local" it automatically redirects to "[localhost]; while as per my understanding all of the URLs now should be like "[mysite.local];.
Can you please help me where I am doing the mistake?

Accidentally deleted index.php (2 replies)
Hello I set up my WAMP server successfully for home use.
However I accidentally deleted the default index.php file that comes with the installation.You know the page that has the WAMPlogo and has the links to projects and such. It sits in the top level of www.
Is there a a pastebin of its contents so I can recreate it?

I'm trying to import a 212mb sql.gz file but I can't get the phpmyadmin file size upload limit to change.
PHP settings can be seen here : [goo.gl]
Technical info here:
1 - Win 10x64
2 - 3.0.6 32bit
3 - 2.4.23
4 - 7.0.10
5 - 5.7.14
6 - Green and fully operational
Any help greatly appreciated.
