I'm setting up a new Windows ThinkPad (Gen 12), moving my files, software, etc. from my six-year-old (Gen 6) laptop. The Gen 6 has my WAMP server work to date, including four of five test and sandbox websites, set up with virtual hosts, running fine.
I can of course reinstall, and rebuild the localhost websites (e.g. copy over the \wamp64\www as part of the process), but is there an option to migrate the existing installation?
I had the same thought about the entire system, wondering if I could just image my Gen 6 (it is current Win 11) but in the end I am rebuilding, reinstalling third-party software, etc. That's what I will likely do with WAMP, but would like to know if migrating is an option.
Thank you.
