Hi Otomatic,
Thanks for maintinging WampServer which I use on a daily basis.
I noticed that WampServer no longer automatically opens the default browser (except when it's Edge).
When I open WampServer, go to "Your Virtualhosts" and select a virtual host, noting happens. Only when I open the default browser manually before selecting a virtual host do I get to see the relevant project. The same holds for opening Phpmyadmin which only works if I manually open the default browser first. I tried with Chrome and Firefox.
Only when the default browser is Edge (or Internet Explorer, which opens Edge too) does the browser automatically open from within WampServer. I use Windows 11 with the latest updates.
I guessed this might have something to do with permissions WampServer is given - so I reinstalled WampServer from scratch, taking care to run all installation files as "administrator". This hasn't changed the described behaviour.
It would be great if you could look into this. I can avoid the issue by using Edge but I'd prefer to use Chrome.
Thanks and best wishes,
Niels
